Dr. Craig S. Ostrander, known affectionately as “Dr. O” to many of his patients, is a family physician with extensive experience in providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals of all ages—from pediatrics to geriatrics. He has been practicing full-spectrum family medicine since 2010.
Dr. Ostrander earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Kansas City University (formerly Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences). He completed his internship and residency in Family Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas, where he gained hands-on experience across a broad range of medical specialties throughout the metropolitan area. His training included both inpatient care at KUMC and outpatient care at KU MedWest and Cass Regional Medical Center.
In addition to family medicine, Dr. Ostrander has specialized training and clinical experience in hospice, palliative care, and advanced wound care, having previously served as a physician at the Healogics Wound Care Center at Cass Regional Medical Center. In 2017, he founded Summit Family Care with a commitment to delivering high-quality, personalized healthcare through the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model. Dr. Ostrander is a firm believer that DPC offers a sustainable and patient-focused alternative to the traditional healthcare system.
Dr. Ostrander is an active member of the Missouri State Medical Association, the national DPC Alliance, and the Midwest Direct Primary Care Alliance.
He has been a proud resident of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, since 1997, where he lives with his wife and enjoys time with their two adult children. Dr. Ostrander brings a unique breadth of interests and expertise beyond the medical field. His diverse passions include languages, financial engineering, e-bikes, music composition, radio communication, information technology, and software design. This eclectic curiosity reflects his lifelong dedication to learning, problem-solving, and innovation—qualities he also applies to delivering thoughtful, personalized care to his patients. Outside of his medical practice, he remains passionate about health, wellness, and the continuous improvement of healthcare delivery.
Lisa Burke, FNP-BC

Lisa Burke is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing compassionate, comprehensive care to patients of all ages. She believes in the importance of building strong, trusting relationships with her patients and takes a personalized approach to care, focusing on wellness, prevention, and the management of chronic conditions.
Lisa earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner certification from the University of Central Missouri in 2017. She brings over seven years of experience in family medicine, complemented by a diverse clinical background that includes roles in neurology and emergency medicine. This breadth of experience has equipped her with the skills and insight to manage a wide range of acute and chronic health concerns.
In addition to her expertise in primary care, Lisa is also trained in Botox administration and offers aesthetic treatments to help patients look and feel their best with safe, effective, and natural-looking results.
Lisa takes pride in providing individualized care with a focus on patient education, empowering her patients to make informed decisions about their health. Her clinical interests include preventive care, chronic disease management, and promoting healthy lifestyle habits for long-term well-being.
Outside of the clinic, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and embracing the outdoors through a variety of activities.
